totally brother. it is my daily shame that i sit in a building where just downstairs a scene or two for the second (and even worse than the first) movie was shot. luckily i have numerous other shames each day to dilute this particular one.
The movies were... well at least better than Daredevil/Electra. The Cast really made the movies a hit if you could them that... At least these movies were released, unlike the 1994 "test" that really was made just to let the studio hang onto the film license/rights a little while longer.
The second film is the most disappointing, they didn't want to show some big giant guy as Galactus, but a literal take on him I would agree with them isn't really that scary looking, neither is a giant cloud thing that a really big fan could defeat just as well. Plus the Surfer creating those big holes doesn't really make sense either, he could have created a sort of beacon or parts of one to draw his master in faster, or be it the device that allows him to convert the planet to his "taste". That might have been better. They really put in too many subplots in that kepy the viewer off track as to the main story(Doom back to steal the Surfer's board, Johnny's "problem", and then the Surfer and Galactus we finally get to). Keep Focus! Well the next one will more than likely be a more Marvel directed movie, either that or the studio might try to keep the rights and or make Marvel "pay through the nose" to get the rights back or to even make another movie with any control over it.

don't watch the second one.... and drink till the part of your brain that recalls the first one is destroyed. FF movies should be gifts from god, not from the director of F'n 'barbershop' (or whatever that was). F anyone involved in those movies and that includes my retarded city of vancouver for being the place these things happened. these days i work at a tiny weirdo game place in a building where the entire block was transformed into a manhattan street for the movie. the language store on the street level was turned into a lingerie shop. i don't know which scenes or how much is recognizable to me in the movie because i was in shock viewing it and will never watch it again. thankfully i didn't work at this place at the time of filming. instead i was at an animation place where mark wahlberg was filming 'shooter' outside.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
