here's the third of my four interior illustrations for a prose story called "eye in the sky", published exclusively through the official transformers collectors club.

this one features rodimus prime (here a villain in all of his purple glory) as he's just ordered the destruction of the statue of liberty. the story takes place in the "shattered glass" timeline, where the autobots are evil and the decepticons are the good guys.

here's the cover, my starscream illustration and my goldbug illustration from the story.

I guess he would be the equivalent of Galvaltron in this alternate universe? The goatee always makes him the evil twin. Nice composition. The angles really move the eye around the print.

I gotta say I still dig the Statue of Liberty having a sword. And I love the GODS destruction effect you did here and on the Burpleson AFB pic.
