new york giants by strongstuff new york giants by strongstuff
here's my entry for the 2012 edition of gallery 1988's annual pop culture explosion, "crazy 4 cult".

rather than taking place in the sunny confines of los angeles (as past installments have), this year's show opens in the meat packing district of new york city, marking gallery 1988's first east coast venture. i chose to celebrate that venue change by depicting something very near and dear to my heart: giant monsters...specifically, the ones that have frequented NYC over the years.

because it's within striking distance of where i live, i'll be in attendance for the show opening. hope to see some of you folks there.

A slightly different composition to what we're used to from Tom, but still just as stunning. The use of negative space is simply delicious! new york giants by *strongstuff ( Suggested by gweety and Featured by ChewedKandi )

Stunning stuff as always. Simplicity is awesome, and you also pay attention to color. Winning combo in my book!
