"everest to antarctica" posterby *strongstuff

my friends at the colonial theatre approached me earlier this asking me to design a limited edition silkscreen poster to celebrate their "everest to antarctica" film festival on october 1, 2011. through the concept process, i had the privilege of getting to know and work with everest summiteer paul deegan, the event's organizer and featured guest.

if the actual festival and accompanying lectures are half as interesting and engaging as our meetings were, attendees are in for a real treat.

posters will be on sale at the event. any that are left over will be available through the colonial theatre. i'll also have a stack of artist proofs going up in my online shop in the next few weeks.

Awesome poster! There's only thing that's bugging me is the tiny purple dots scattered around, they don't really seem to fit the overall feel of the poster.

So gorgeous! I absolutely adore the color selections you've made, and that little bit of texture in the light parts of the mountain is really eye-catching. You almost don't notice this until you look harder. I bet these look beautiful in real life.
